Celebrating Progress and Looking Ahead to 2025

Happy Holidays Employ

As I reflect on my first nine months as CEO of Employ, I’m inspired by the incredible progress we’ve made together. These months have been about listening, learning, and evolving to meet the unique needs of our customers, partners, and employees. While we celebrate our milestones, this moment is also an opportunity to focus on what’s ahead—ensuring Employ and our customers remain at the forefront of talent acquisition innovation.

2024 Accomplishments

Since April, we’ve focused on listening to our customers and ensuring their needs are met while also hitting some internal milestones like opening a Center of Excellence, building out our executive team, launching a new brand strategy, and redefining our culture.

Customer-focused Enhancements

Part of what I’ve enjoyed the most at Employ to date has been getting to know our customers and how we can better meet their evolving needs, and I’m really proud of the  progress made in a relatively short amount of time—all focused on giving TA teams more time back in their day so they can put people first.

  • We’ve introduced productivity innovations to speed up hiring and new analytics dashboards to improve hiring visibility. With intuitive and visual analytics, talent leaders can drive faster decision-making, recruiting teams can monitor performance without manual reporting, and hiring managers can stay connected on hiring progress.
  • We’ve also reimagined the recruiter user experience for Jobs and Campaigns, resulting in faster page responses, fewer clicks, and additional capabilities to increase recruiter productivity.
  • And we’ve worked closely with LinkedIn to expand our integration capabilities across all products—such as a new connection between the talent CRM and LinkedIn—to help recruiters spend less time toggling between systems and more time with candidates.
  • On the support side, so far, we’ve reduced customer-support tickets by 40% and accelerated support resolution times. We still have improvements to make, but we are putting the right resources behind these areas.

Digging deeper to understand the unique hiring challenges of our customers also informed one of the most transformative shifts we’re starting to make, which is aligning our product positioning to the specific needs of organizations, regardless of their size.

Across all of our ATS solutions, we have customers of all sizes—from micro businesses to Fortune 100 companies. And complex hiring requirements aren’t reserved for large companies. A small company can just as easily have complex needs, while a larger company can have simple needs. Size isn’t the litmus test for how complex or simple hiring needs are.

This insight inspired us to reposition our products to better align with the individual needs of every customer:

  • JazzHR for more straightforward, quick, and foundational hiring.
  • Jobvite for complex recruiting and hiring processes.
  • Lever for foundational hiring that can easily scale up or down.

We’ve also addressed the misconception of an “all-in-one” solution in talent acquisition. Customers told us they didn’t believe such a solution existed—and they were right. The best approach is about choice and customization. Employ starts with one of our base ATS platforms and enhances it with additional modules and integrations from our 600+ partner organizations. This allows us to deliver a customized solution that addresses the specific pain points and business goals of each customer.

Internal Milestones

Our Center of Excellence in Denver, Colorado serves as a vital hub for strategic initiatives and operations, creating a more collaborative environment to foster innovation and growth.

A key component to our success was building a leadership team that could align with and drive our brand strategy and culture, and we’ve built an amazing team that brings immense energy and expertise to our collective goals.

Our brand story galvanizes our position in the market as the only company that offers the choice of three world-class ATS solutions—Jobvite, Lever, and JazzHR— and is committed to matching organizations to the best solution, not our only solution, to help hire better, faster, and smarter.

Our culture is an extension of our brand—and vice versa. Our redefined vision, mission, and values serve as our North Star in everything we do. Our mission is to bring together the best talent with the best companies, creating opportunity for people and businesses, and our vision is to be the category-leading talent acquisition provider. Our values are to be accountable, customer obsessed, innovative, and people first.

TA and HR teams are inherently people, people. That’s where our people-first value comes from, and it drives our culture as well as our product decisions. Not only do our products themselves give users time back to focus on building relationships but also our approach to innovation ensures we are helping customers embrace a people-first strategy. For example, while everybody in HR Tech and beyond is talking about AI, we aren’t bolting on AI for AI’s sake. We’ve seen too many innovations come and go in the tech space to jump on a bandwagon. We consider AI a part of our DNA—an almost invisible, behind-the-scenes player that makes jobs inherently simpler rather than adding more work to make jobs simpler.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we move into 2025, our focus will remain on listening to our customers and creating solutions that empower them to succeed. Employ is the only provider in this space that can truly ask, “What business problems do you need to solve?” and deliver a custom solution through our three ATS platforms and integrations.

In the coming months, you’ll be hearing more about our approach to ensure every customer has the tools and insights they need to thrive. In the meantime, thank you for your trust, collaboration, and belief in what we’re building together. Our customer, partner, and employee insights and relationships drive everything we do. The future of the talent acquisition technology space and Employ’s competitive advantage in the market has never been brighter.

I’m wishing you a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year, and I can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together in 2025!
